ABOUT ME
Nici (pronounced Nicki) was born in the country of Namibia. Her Jewish Grandparents came to southern Africa having fled the Holocaust, and Nici became a believer in Jesus when she was sixteen after reading the book Betrayed. Nici, her mother, and her grandparents actually all became believers in Jesus in the same year. She pursued a B.A. in Theology whilst serving as a missionary with Jews for Jesus in South Africa. Garrett (also on staff) and Nici met during that time and have been married for 23 years. They served together as missionaries with Jews for Jesus for twelve years in New York City, Washington DC, and Boston. She is the mother of three children, Zach (18), Daliya (17), and Ilana (13). She enjoys reading historical fiction, ethnic food, and spending time with friends. She considers it a tremendous privilege to serve the ethnically diverse community of NCC in the areas of Spiritual Formation and Community Life but her passion by far is in the area of Outreach, helping people discover the joy that comes from knowing and following Jesus.
